PO-01-106 ATRIAL ISOCHRONAL LATE ACTIVATION MAPPING KEEPS THE DIAPHRAGM ALIVE

چکیده
Isochronal late activation mapping (ILAM) is a well-established method for ventricular arrhythmias. However, the role of ILAM during atrial arrhythmias less clear. This case provides an example use right flutter ablation using high-density Optrell (Biosense Webster, CARTO) catheter in patient with congenital heart disease. N/A A 27-year-old female D-transposition great arteries status post Nikaidoh (arterial switch operation septal defect repair, pulmonary valve replacement, and typical presented SVT was referred ablation. During EPS, conventional fleeting attempted utilizing catheter, which localized region interest to large section inferior posterolateral RA, also had diffuse phrenic nerve capture (figure 1, panel A). periods sinus rhythm, voltage conducted that demonstrated distinct, confined, isochronal crowding along mid-posterolateral atrium, distant from B). The site addressed rendering non-inducible preservation function. has remained free 6 months period since application tachycardia, however, its may be especially useful adults disease given complexity arrhythmia benefit this unique population. Novel catheters, such as Optrell, allow rapid granular data translate well regions within atrium. Application substrate, particularly predisposes higher recurrence rates, improve both rates safety, like where allowed avoiding on nerve.

Recharging Probably Keeps Batteries Alive
The kinetic battery model is a popular model of the dynamic behavior of a conventional battery, useful to predict or optimize the time until battery depletion. The model however lacks certain obvious aspects of batteries in-the-wild, especially with respect to (i) the effects of random influences and (ii) the behavior when charging up to capacity bounds. This paper considers the kinetic battery...

of NMDARs. Thus, blocking NMDAR activity by different means increases apoptosis of migrating neuroblasts that results, over time, in a cumulative decrease of OB granule cell neurogenesis (65% at 8 weeks post-electroporation). Importantly, the migration of the electroporated neuroblasts was not influenced by genetic removal of NMDARs indicating that apoptosis alone contributes to defective neuro...
متن کاملIs it Money or Marriage that Keeps People Alive ?
It is believed that the length of a person’s life depends on a mixture of economic and social factors. Yet the relative importance of these is still debated. We provide evidence in this paper that marriage has a much more important (positive) effect on longevity than high income does. For men, it almost exactly offsets the large negative effect of smoking. Economics, however, plays little or no...
متن کاملThe Adult Brain Makes New Neurons, and Effortful Learning Keeps Them Alive
The brain continues to produce new neurons throughout life. For instance, the hippocampus (a brain region necessary for select learning processes) produces thousands of new neurons each day. However, a significant number of them die and do so within just a few weeks of their birth. Laboratory animals that are trained to learn a new skill between one and two weeks after the new cells are generat...
